Job summary
We are seeking new trustees to join our board. We are particularly keen to connect with those who bring strong community insight, lived experience, and a value led approach to leadership. This is an opportunity to help shape the future direction of a growing charity and make a meaningful difference to the communities we serve.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in areas such as digital innovation, accessibility and inclusion, healthcare, governance, leadership, community engagement, organisational growth, or partnerships.
Main duties of the job
As we continue to grow and evolve, particularly through innovation and digital development, we are looking to appoint a small number of new Trustees to join our Board to complement the skills, perspectives and experience already in place.

- Directing our strategy and ensuring we deliver our charitable purpose.
- Monitoring performance and impact.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Shaping and upholding our culture and values.
- Acting as ambassadors for us and safeguarding our reputation.
- Participating in board and committee meetings, working collaboratively with fellow trustees and the executive team.
- Trustees are responsible for our overall governance and strategic direction, ensuring we are well-run, financially sound and delivering on our purpose.

Northpoint is a Yorkshire-based mental health charity supporting children, young people and adults across our region and beyond.We provide accessible, compassionate mental health support that helps people feel heard, build resilience and improve their wellbeing.Our work takes place in schools, communities, GP practices and online, working closely with partners and commissioners to reduce barriers to support and ensure help is available when it is needed most.

About you
You may never have considered becoming a Trustee before, and that's okay. We welcome people from a range of backgrounds who share our values, bring fresh perspectives and have the time and commitment to contribute to our Board. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals who are passionate about mental health, inclusion and supporting positive change within communities.
