About the Role
This Veterinary Surgeon role is based at Medivet Faygate 24-Hour, a busy hospital environment where you will work across consults and surgery. The practice sits in acres of rolling woodland and picturesque grounds, with access to the South Downs National Park and the Jurassic coastline nearby.
You’ll be joining a relatively new and restructured but experienced, warm and supportive team. Faygate is one of Medivet’s 24-hour centres and offers referral-level facilities, giving you the chance to work on complex and varied cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for patients in consults and surgery.
- Develop treatment plans with clients.
- Work collaboratively within the team.
- Support Medivet communities by sharing your skills.
Requirements
- You must be a qualified MRCVS.
- Clinical excellence and client care matter to you.
- You should be a team player.
- At least 3 years of UK experience is preferred.
- A surgical bias and interest in orthopaedics are preferred.

About the Practice
Medivet Faygate is a 24-hour centre in Horsham, West Sussex, and sits within Medivet, a leading veterinary care provider with over 400 practices across the UK and Europe. The wider network includes 24-hour centres and referral hospitals.
The practice is well equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, full lab equipment, CT and two theatres. It also includes a separate cat waiting area, separate cat and dog wards, and an isolation facility.
