About the Role
This Veterinary Surgeon position covers two branch partner sites, Medivet Old Isleworth and Medivet Whitton. You’ll be part of a supportive team and handle a caseload that balances routine work with more complex cases, including exposure to soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics.
The rota includes a 1 in 6 weekend rotation at Richmond 24-Hour Hospital, an average of 2 to 3 weeks of on-call duties, and approximately 3 Bank Holidays per year. It is a full-time role for an experienced vet who wants to keep developing clinically within a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care across consults and surgery to the required regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Work across Medivet Old Isleworth and Medivet Whitton
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Share clinical skills and support the development of Medivet communities
Requirements
- Qualified MRCVS
- At least 3 years' experience
- Passion for clinical excellence and client care

About the Practice
This role sits within Medivet, with work split between Medivet Old Isleworth and Medivet Whitton. The team includes 2 Branch Partners, experienced support staff, 1 Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses and 2 Graduate Vets.
The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, in-house biochemistry and haematology analysers, and Doppler and oscillometric blood pressure monitoring. The caseload includes routine work alongside more complex cases, with exposure to soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics.
