About the Role
This Plaistow opportunity offers a varied first-opinion caseload in a well-established East London practice with a loyal local client base. You will be joining a collaborative team that communicates openly and supports one another through the busier days, with the reassurance of Wanstead Veterinary Hospital nearby for advanced clinical support, internal referrals, hospitalisation and OOH care.
The role suits an experienced GP vet who enjoys working in a busy environment, building lasting client relationships and getting stuck into a broad mix of medical, diagnostic and surgical cases. For vets with an interest in diagnostics, the practice has digital and dental X-ray as well as ultrasound facilities, and the site is ISFM accredited.
This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week, with a 1:4 branch Saturday rotation, a 1:8 Sunday rotation at Wanstead Veterinary Hospital, around 6 Saturday shifts per year that include a 6pm to 9:30pm twilight shift, 2 bank holidays per year and a last resort only on-call requirement that is very rarely used.

- Provide GP surgery within your own clinical competence and limitations.

Requirements
- Experience as a GP vet is required, as the role is not suitable for a new graduate.
- Confidence working in a busy first-opinion GP setting.
- Ability to provide a full GP service.
