About the Role
Ark Veterinary Practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive team in Stratford-upon-Avon. Full-time or part-time applications are welcomed, with flexible working considered. For full-time vets, the role is based around a 4-day working week, with no out-of-hours work and Saturday mornings on a rota basis, currently 1 in 4.
There is flexibility on remuneration for the right candidate, and enhanced pay may be available for those with additional qualifications, specialist interests or areas of expertise. The practice is looking for someone who is friendly, conscientious and highly motivated.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-opinion veterinary care within a high-quality small animal practice
- Work as part of a close-knit team of 4 vets, 6 nurses, a dedicated reception team and an experienced, qualified practice manager
- Contribute to a practice that values outstanding clinical care and customer service
- Support a general practice caseload, with scope to develop areas of interest or specialism
Requirements
- Experienced Veterinary Surgeon
- Friendly, conscientious and highly motivated approach
- Ability to work full-time or part-time, with flexibility considered
- Enhanced remuneration is available for additional qualifications, specialist interests or expertise
Benefits
- Salary of £40,000 to £65,000 per annum, DOE
- Full-time 4-day working week

About the Practice
Ark Veterinary Practice is a high-quality small animal practice in Stratford-upon-Avon. It opened in 1992 and aims to provide exceptional clinical and client care while offering value for money.
The practice has recently been refurbished and now includes a new reception area with dedicated cat waiting space, a new dispensary, a dedicated quiet cat ward and new laboratory facilities. It also holds Silver ISFM Cat Friendly Status, Dogs Trust Dog Friendly Status and RCVS Practice Standards Accreditation. Equipment includes digital X-ray, dental X-ray, a high-specification ultrasound scanner, extensive in-house laboratory facilities and laparoscopic surgical equipment.
