About the Role
Join Medivet Woolwich as a Veterinary Surgeon and you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team in the heart of South East London. The practice is in a vibrant, fast-growing area with strong transport connections via the Elizabeth Line, DLR and Thames Clipper, making it easy to commute from across London and Kent.
You’ll work in a well-equipped first opinion practice with a loyal client base and a varied caseload that includes cats, dogs, birds and small mammals. The rota includes 1 in 6 weekends at Medivet’s 24-hour Beckenham hospital, giving you access to a wider clinical network while keeping the role balanced.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care in consults and surgery
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support a joined-up approach to patient care
- Contribute to clinical governance, regulatory standards and operational compliance
- Share skills and support the development of Medivet communities
Requirements
- Qualified MRCVS
- Confident in both consulting and surgery
- At least one year of small animal experience
- Team player with a strong focus on clinical excellence and client care
