Job summary
The Inpatient Unit (IPU) at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity provides expert specialist palliative care at our Hospice in Cambridge. With capacity for up to 23 patients, we support people with both complex and non-complex palliative and end-of-life care needs.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as IPU Ward Manager. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week at our Hospice in Cambridge. The usual working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
As Ward Manager, you will lead one of the most rewarding and meaningful services in healthcare. Working at the heart of our Hospice Inpatient Unit, you will inspire and develop a talented team, ensuring every patient and family receives care that is compassionate, individualised and of the highest quality. You will have the opportunity to influence service development, champion innovation, support staff wellbeing and help transform how palliative and end of life care is delivered. Main duties of the job
To succeed in this role, you will be an NMC-registered nurse with post-registration experience in specialist palliative care. You will also bring experience of managing teams and delivering high-quality care services. Starting salary of £49,387, with opportunities to progress to £56,515.
