- Context: 24.8% of pupils have additional needs (SEND) with 5.2% on EHCPs; 8% are eligible for free school meals. Our current absence rate is 4.4%.
- We follow the OFSTED (2025) inspection framework and are committed to high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, curriculum quality and pupils’ personal development.
- School improvement priorities include strengthening curriculum expertise across all subjects (including EYFS), building effective leadership systems, nurturing positive relationships and embedding a meaningful approach to staff and pupil well-being.
This post is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school on a clear improvement journey. You will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching that brings our curriculum to life for every child you teach.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop consistent, effective practice across subjects and key stages (EYFS expertise welcomed).
- Support inclusive practice so all pupils, including those with SEND, make strong progress.
- Contribute to positive relationships across the school and model our Christian values in day-to-day practice.
- Play an active part in staff development activities and whole-school improvement initiatives.
