Year 5 Teacher

Key Stage Teacher Supply is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Lancaster, to Teach within a Year 5 Class. 
This is a full time, long term role, offering the opportunity to deliver high quality teaching within a supportive and well structured school environment. 
The role is due to start on Monday 2nd November, and set to continue until Summer 2027. 
The school has a strong focus on pupil progress and inclusive learning, with a collaborative staff team and a positive learning culture, making it an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking to develop their practice in a supportive setting.

 Primary Teacher role requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum (KS1 and KS2) 
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills 
  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching 
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing 
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply 

 
The successful  Primary Teacher will: 

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
  • Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress 
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies 
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment 
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and leadership
