Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field; a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in information security or IT leadership and program management, with direct experience in reporting, metrics, and financial management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading programs and teams with proven leadership achievements.
  • US Citizenship required
  • Strong working knowledge of security program metrics, reporting, and governance practices, with the ability to translate technical outcomes into business-relevant KPIs and dashboards.
  • Experience managing budgets, technology acquisitions, and vendor spend within a technology or security organization.
  • Proven experience in a dynamic leadership role, with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, collaborating across the InfoSec, IT, Legal, and business organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in communications, branding, or marketing for a technology or security organization, and the ability to collaborate and motivate effectively across diverse teams, including customers and executives.
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in understanding evolving technology and security solutions and their business applications.
  • Ability to work outside traditional role boundaries to address organizational gaps, and to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications are preferred, such as PMP, CISSP, or CISA.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $154,400 to $231,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?

As the Director, Cyber Programs, you will be responsible for leading a team as a player-coach that drives cyber outcomes, reporting, and financial execution that power WWT's Information Security organization.    This includes overseeing key strategic and tactical initiatives, defining and capturing KPIs and metrics to demonstrate progress, developing program and executive dashboards, managing budgets, supporting technology acquisition, and leading communications and branding, across the organization.  You will be a servant leader who builds the organizational vision, holds your team accountable for results, and serves as a trusted advisor to executives on the health, performance, and impact of information security programs.  You will leverage your innovative thinking to disrupt the status quo, leveraging AI and technology to drive greater efficiencies and improved visibility across the teams.  Your leadership will directly enhance WWT's ability to demonstrate the value and rigor of our security program to executives, clients, and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an organizational vision for our Cyber Programs team based on IT and security goals, while driving tactical results. Align and motivate your team by providing clarity and holding leaders and team members accountable for execution and results.
  • Leverage AI and innovative problem-solving skills to develop new approaches for traditional program management, reporting, and financial functions. Challenge the status quo, and develop a culture of innovation across the teams
  • Own the strategy and execution of WWT's information security reporting and metrics program, defining KPIs, quality measures, and executive dashboards that give leadership clear, timely visibility into program performance.
  • Own the financial execution of the Information Security organization, including budget development, technology and vendor acquisition, and ongoing financial tracking to ensure resources are deployed effectively against priorities.
  • Collaborate across IT, Information Security, Legal, and business organizations to drive mutual success. Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, executives, customers, and employees, becoming a trusted advisor and the primary voice on cyber program matters.
  • Lead communications and branding for the Information Security organization, ensuring a consistent, compelling narrative across internal and external audiences that reinforces WWT's security posture.
  • Drive key strategic initiatives for Information Security, from concept through execution, ensuring initiatives are well-scoped, resourced, and tracked to measurable outcomes.
  • Design and implement staffing plans that foster healthy teams capable of achieving results aligned with the organizational vision.
  • Be an outstanding communicator, motivating your leaders and team, listening to understand, and working in the spirit of collaboration and mutual success.
  • Embrace humility with confidence, drive pragmatic approaches, and use a risk-based approach for the success of the organization.
