Head Chef

Fancy working in our busy gastro pub kitchen? We cook everything from scratch using local artisan suppliers, and we're looking for a Head Chef to run the kitchen at The Bull in Otford. You'll run a professional kitchen in keeping with the company's and the Pub Manager's philosophy, taking ownership of food safety, health and safety, dish development and menu balance, and working alongside the GM to hit the numbers. Recruiting, training and keeping morale high across the brigade is a big part of the job. You won't be doing it unsupported. We have a development kitchen behind the pubs to take the pressure off mise-en-place, an independent compliance company running unannounced EHO-style visits so you are never caught out, and quarterly Manager and Head Chef meetings where the teams share what is working.
