MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and coordinate administrative procedures and systems including ways to streamline processes.
- Establish clear and consistent systems to develop an efficient and organised school Reception office.
- To arrange and organise cover for planned/unplanned class staff absence.
- Support the Trust’s central HR team with all safeguarding checks and processes for the SCR ensuring all visitors, including staff and agency staff, adhere to our Policy.
- Oversee all communication for Greys Education Centre (including parents and carers).
- Day to day line management of the School Office Team. Ensuring reception is always run in a professional and business-like manner with adequate cover in place.
- A required, to work with the Headteacher to review the roles of the School Office Team allocating responsibilities, as appropriate.
This post is subject to Enhanced DBS Clearance, right to work check, satisfactory references, social media checks, health clearance, and a probationary period. This post is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and we will ask job applicants to declare convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview to assess their suitability to work with children. In addition, online checks will be completed in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
