Saturday Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

This permanent Saturday Veterinary Surgeon role is based at Springfield Vets, Rotherham Hospital, with an average of 5 hours a week covering alternate Saturdays. The post is described as flexible, and other shift patterns may be considered alongside it.

You will be joining a small animal first opinion hospital role with room to handle routine consults, and there is interest in ECC cases without the commitment of night work. The advert also says a Consultations Veterinary Surgeon only arrangement can be considered if preferred.

The hospital is a friendly, forward-thinking 24-hour site, and overnight care is provided by its own dedicated out-of-hours team. It is RCVS-accredited, rated Outstanding, and its facilities were enhanced in May 2022 with the addition of a CT scanner.

Key Responsibilities

• See routine appointments on a Saturday rota.

Requirements

• Qualified small animal Veterinary Surgeon.
• Confident seeing routine appointments.
