Acute Rehabilitation Trauma unitDo you have an interest in caring for patients who have sustained traumatic and life changing injuries. Would you like to be involved in their care and rehabilitation. Could you work alongside an innovative multidisciplinary team?

Main duties of the job

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our team.We can offer you a warm welcome to our Acute Trauma Rehabilitation Unit.The successful applicant will have good communication skills and should have at least 2 years experience of working in an acute hospital setting ideally within a trauma and orthopaedics or specialised rehabilitation. The applicant should also have at least 2 years experience looking after level one patients. We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse on NMC Register
  • Recognised qualification in teaching and assessing study

Desirable

  • Mentorship or equivalent
Experience

Essential

  • minimum 2 years post registration experience
  • Has experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Experience in level one care

Desirable

  • Trauma & Orthopaedic experience
  • Experience in taking charge of the ward
