About the Role

This permanent Veterinary Surgeon position is based at Tremain Veterinary Centre in Witney and is set at 40 hours a week. Salary is dependent on experience.

You will be working in a first opinion small animal practice with a varied caseload that includes consultations, surgery, diagnostics, dentistry, nurse consultations, cardiology, preventative healthcare and emergency support arrangements. The practice is described as long established and community focused, with a friendly, collaborative feel.

Witney is presented as a vibrant market town on the edge of the Cotswolds AONB, with Oxfordshire countryside nearby and access to Oxford, Cheltenham and London.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out first opinion small animal work across consultations, surgery and ongoing treatment
• Take part in diagnostic investigations and routine procedures
• Contribute to dentistry, cardiology and preventative healthcare cases
• Work alongside veterinary surgeons, RVNs and support colleagues within the practice
• Provide strong client care and help maintain a reassuring experience for pet owners
